OUR FOUNDERS
It started on a chicken bus in Bolivia.
In 2006, newlyweds Ingrid and Sean McGinley sold everything they owned and bought a one-way ticket to South America. Somewhere along a dusty road in Bolivia, riding a local “chicken bus” through the Andes, they started dreaming about what they would build together.
Back in Colorado, they both learned the ropes of mountain construction, working on homes in Bachelor Gulch and the Yellowstone Club. They saw routine waste and plenty of room to do things differently: communicate better, build thoughtfully, and make things to last.
So they started Meadow Mountain Homes.
Their first client signed on in the Miami airport that same year. Since then, MMH has built and renovated more than 40 homes throughout the Vail Valley.
Mountain homes for mountain people. Just the way they envisioned it back in 2006.
