YOUR FOUNDATION

FOR MOUNTAIN LIVING

To us, our homes are more than projects or another transaction. They are about you, the homeowner. The real people who sink into the sofa to watch the snow fall and who cook Thanksgiving dinners for friends. Who sleep and dream and ski and fish and sit on the deck to gaze at the mountain sunsets. Whatever it is that reflects you, the unique way you live and your mountain lifestyle, our homes will meet you there.

OUR FOUNDERS  |  They hatched the idea on a chicken bus in Bolivia  more than a decade ago. As newly-weds, Ingrid and Sean McGinley had just sold everything and bought a one-way ticket to South America, where they explored the world and plotted their future together.

Both Sean and Ingrid learned the ropes of mountain construction working for general contractors who built out Bachelor Gulch and Yellowstone Club. But they saw routine waste in the industry. Instead of ripping out cabinets and throwing them in the dumpster, why not take the time to remove them carefully and take them to Habitat for Humanity? Those miscommunications that brewed into expensive change orders? Why not nip them in the bud and talk more often? The young McGinleys wanted to control their own destiny and to do things differently. Do it better.

And so, it was on the chicken bus amid bustling vendors, dusty village roads and the vista of the Andes that things really began. The pair signed up their first client in the Miami airport in 2006. Years later Meadow Mountain Homes has built and renovated 40 homes and counting and established long-lasting relationships in the Vail Valley. We hope to add you and your home to our Meadow Mountain family. Let’s build a Mountain Lifestyle together.
